The day has come- the last round of season 2018.
The German mega race track Arena Oschersleben is our final destination. A race track that is very technical and is one of the most demanding in our calendar. What is most important , the riders love this track and that is what makes racing so good. The weather was perfect throughout Friday and whole Saturday. Cold but sunny in the morning and pleasant 20 degrees in the afternoon.
Saturday is all about finding the best setup in the qualifying and work for the race setup.
AAC 600 pole man was Dominik Stefanowski with the best lap of 1:38.889 sec
AAC1000 pole position went to Karol Rychlik with the best lap of 1:35.292 sec
SSP300 pole position with the best lap of 1:41.415 sec -Samuel Lochoff
STK600 pole position went to Max Enderlein with the best lap of 1:31.749 sec
SSP pole man Martin Vugrinec with the best lap of 1:31.294 sec
STK1000 pole position with the best lap of 1:27.593 went to Michal Filla
SBK pole position went to Karel Hanika with the best lap of 1:26.962 sec
So that was how Qualifying went. Let’s see who found the best race setup for the first race of the weekend. Opening race of the day was AAC600 class. Pole man Stefanowski was unstoppable, he took a dominant win. In AAC1000 we had almost the same story. Pole siter Rychlik took the lead and never looked back.
SSP300 race was epic as always. Pole man Lochoff was stopped by Troy Beinlich who rode perfect and was first over the finish line in front of Bulik and Lochoff.
Title decider race weekend. Victory went to Max Enderlein, second over the finish line was Alen Gyorfi, third Geri Gesslbauer. So now we have an amazing battle waiting for us tomorrow that will decide who will be the champion.
Same like in STK600 class, a title fight between Molnar and Vugrinec. Martin was on pole position but Molnar had a better start and was in the lead during the first part of the race. But then Vugrinec pulled the pin and took the lead. He crossed the line first, Molnar second ,third was Budzynski.
Class that was dominated by Filla this season. He had a plan to continue his winning but a technical error on his bike stopped his mission. The victory went to Arnaud Friendrich.
Karel Hanika was on another level. Pole position and a dominant win. The second place went to Julian Mayer, third to Philipp Steinmayr.
What a day.
Make sure you follow us tomorrow .
Last race of the season is waiting !
