2018 Champions

SSP600                                    SBK                                       STK600

Martin Vugrinec               Julian Mayer                        Gerrold Jun

SSP600

In Supersport class we had a similar situation like in STK600. Last round of the season was the title decider. Martin Vugrinec vs Gergo Molnar. Vugrinec pulled the pin in race one when he took the race win and that way he was on the right course to win the title. But you never know in racing, everything can happen. So it did. Molnar went all in in race one and lost the front in thefirst lap so his title hopes were gone.  Vugrinec become 2018 SSP Champion.

SBK

The crown of our Alpe Adria International Championship- SBK class. This season we have seen some proper racing in this dream class. Julian Mayer was in another league in the first part of the season and when things didn’t go as he planed he was always close to winning. That is what matters at the end of the season. Every point counts. In the last two race weekends Karel Hanika was unstoppable but Mayer had a better overall season so he become the 2018 Alpe Adria International Championship SBK champion.

STK 600

Class with the biggest number of riders has been one of the most interesting classes this season. Fight for the title went into the last race weekend or better say last race of the season at Oschersleben. It was all in for Gerrold Jun Gesslbauer and Alen Gyorfi. Who ever won that last race was to be crowned champion. It was Gesslbauer who pull the hammer down and went to win the Championship title.

STK1000

Michal Filla – Domination like it was never seen before. He was victorious in 9 out of 12 races this season. His winning streak was stopped in Red Bull Ring when Adrian Pasek took the win. And in the last race weekend at Oschersleben when Arnaud Friedrich took the double win. But Filla had so many points lead that he become a Champion way before the season ended.

SSP300

Smallest class with the biggest heart in our paddock the SSP 300. We enjoyed epic races this season with young guns fighting like there is no tomorrow. But at the end there can be only one winner and he is Samuel Lochoff. He played his game smart and showed a lot of smart moves and talent when it was time to go racing.

AAC600 CUP WINNER

In our Alpe Adria Cup 600 class Dominik Stefanowski was the most consistent rider this season. At the end he came on top after the last race and was the overall season winner. AAC600 class is an entry door into the world of professional motorcycle racing. Interest for this class is growing a lot.

AAC1000 CUP WINNER

In Alpe Adria Cup 1000 class Yaroslaw Budzynski  took the overall win in front of Karol Rychlik with a comfortable margin in points standing. Budzynski also had an amazing season with little mistakes and overall best performance.

From our opening race at Slovakiaring our goal and vision was to make this Championship great again. Now after the show is over we can say that we are going in the right direction. We are looking forward to season 2019 and all the  new challenges and battles that are waiting for us.

Now it’s time to recharge our batteries and come ready from a long winter break.

Thank you all!!!

Yours Lutec Racing.
